CERIB expands its presence in the Indian Ocean region

Opening of a subsidiary in Saint-Denis

On March 21, 2024, the Concrete Industry Research Center (CERIB) made its official entry into the Indian Ocean region with the inauguration of a subsidiary in Saint-Denis, located on the picturesque island of La Réunion.

Stéphane Le Guirriec, Managing Director of CERIB, highlights the center’s longstanding collaboration with companies in the Indian Ocean area. Their expertise is in demand not only for training and metrology services but also for significant projects such as La Réunion’s Nouvelle Route du Littoral. The establishment of CERIB’s Indian Ocean subsidiary aims to provide local manufacturers with comprehensive expertise, fostering closer collaboration and direct engagement with customers and other industrial stakeholders in this thriving region.

Cédric Francou, Managing Director of CERIB Indian Ocean, further emphasizes the strategic significance of the subsidiary’s location in the heart of the Indian Ocean. He underscores the importance of addressing region-specific challenges, such as water management and resource conservation. The subsidiary offers a wide range of services, including testing, assessment, studies, standardization, certification, and training, catering to customers across Reunion Island, Mayotte, Mauritius, and Madagascar.
