World day of Girls in STEM

Digital session through Comor’Lab’s Digi’talk

The International Day of Women and Girls in Science, celebrated every February 11th, serves as a reminder of the importance of gender inclusivity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. In commemoration of this day, Comor’Lab is organizing an open discussion on STEM via the Digi’talk platform on February 14th in Moroni.

Achieving the goals of the Sustainable Development Programme by 2030 and enhancing climate resilience necessitates mobilizing all resources, including promoting women’s inclusion in the digital field, particularly in STEM. While STEM disciplines are vital for economic growth, gender parity remains a significant challenge. Despite their academic qualifications, women continue to be underrepresented in scientific fields.

In light of this, Comor’Lab invites women to participate in a digital session through its Digi’talk interface. This platform hosts monthly sessions to foster innovation, inspiration, and collaboration. Discussions encompass a wide range of topics, from addressing immediate challenges to exploring emerging trends while fostering a culture of continuous learning within the community.
