Discussions on technological inventions and innovations

The University of Antananarivo seeks to strengthen its engagement in the economic sphere by establishing partnerships with both public and private entities. With this goal in mind, the first edition of the Forum on Technological Inventions and Innovations will be held at the Ambohitsaina campus on October 1st and 2nd, 2024.

According to the university’s statement, « The main objective is to contribute to achieving sustainable development goals ». Bringing together all stakeholders in research and innovation, this forum aims to facilitate innovative projects in various sectors such as agriculture, renewable energies, environmental treatment, information technology, digital transformation, beauty services, marketing, mechanics, and education.

The program includes exhibitions and booths showcasing the results of research and products from promising innovations and a conference on startups and innovation. A competition is also planned to identify innovative and promising robotics and artificial intelligence projects, energy transition, and education. Nearly 10,000 visitors are expected at this technology-focused event.
