2024 Pierre Castel Prize : Supporting Young Entrepreneurs in Madagascar

Training and various funding options offered to winners

April 24th marks the registration deadline for the 2024 edition of the Pierre Castel Prize. This initiative, organized by the Castel Group, aims to bolster local entrepreneurship by implementing sustainable solutions for African food systems.

The competition, which has been open since March 1st, targets young Malagasy entrepreneurs aged 18 to 45 operating in the agricultural and industrial sectors nationwide. Selected project leaders will receive financial support and training to enhance their skills in addressing challenges in the farming and agri-food sectors, both domestically and internationally.

The first selected project will receive a sum of 15,000 EUR, accompanied by financial support and a mentorship program. The second project will be awarded 10,000 EUR and a coaching program. Three additional winners (3rd to 6th prize) will undergo certified entrepreneurial training through e-learning with the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Geneva and will participate directly in the « Young Hope Prize ».

Fanou Raveloarison, Head of Institutional Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility, strongly encourages young entrepreneurs to seize this opportunity and actively participate in shaping a sustainable future for Malagasy entrepreneurship.
