Analakely hosts the Zoma Market

A Must-Visit Event for Residents

The Zoma Market enthusiastically returns to Analakely with the « Tsenabe Special Holidays ». Occupying Independence Avenue, it welcomes merchants and tourists.

The special holiday program « Tsenabe » brings back memories of the historic Zoma Market of Antananarivo. Held weekly, various items are showcased. The historic Zoma Market has always been a must-visit event for the residents of Tananarive. It has returned today with its multiple markets set up in Analakely, including the holiday market, an event called « Tsenabe Special Holidays » installed on the sidewalks of Independence Avenue, and markets on the esplanade of Analakely.

This event has gathered numerous merchants over the past few days, occupying part of this area. Items such as clothing, shoes, accessories, food products, cosmetics, school supplies, and many others are available at the stalls.

According to the event organizer, the estimated cost of renting a stand for five days is 500,000 ariary (110 USD). However, merchants express their satisfaction, as this organization allows them to showcase their products to the general public. Visitors are also pleased. However, the presence of this market worsens traffic congestion in Analakely and hinders circulation.
