Thierry de Bailleul appointed CEO of Madagascar Airlines

Thierry de Bailleul has taken the helm as the new CEO of Madagascar Airlines, succeeding Ny Riana Rasolonjatovo, effective December 2022. This leadership transition coincided with the signing of a contract for the acquisition of three Embraer 190-E2s, with the initial delivery slated for 2023.
Bringing a wealth of experience from his tenure with esteemed airlines such as Qatar Airways, Emirates, and Air France-KLM, Thierry de Bailleul is well-equipped to steer Madagascar Airlines toward success. The airline currently manages the assets of Air Madagascar under a management lease agreement.
Expressing his gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him by public authorities, including His Excellency the President of the Republic and the Minister of Transport, the new CEO conveyed his excitement for the challenging yet vital role ahead.
