Air Mauritius : Charles Cartier appointed CEO

In early March 2024, Charles Cartier was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the national airline by the Board of Directors, succeeding Krešimir Kučko, who resigned by consensus on February 29. Shortly after the board meeting, Cartier shared his priorities during a press briefing at the Air Mauritius headquarters in Port-Louis. He emphasized a renewed focus on enhancing the passenger experience, aiming for all travelers to become enthusiastic supporters of both Air Mauritius and Mauritius itself. Cartier highlighted that the primary objective for all Air Mauritius teams would be to ensure that the on-board experience is as enjoyable as possible.
