Starting this January 2023, the Reunion Island Tourism Federation (FRT) welcomes Christian Loga as its new Director

Christian Loga has been appointed as the new Director of FRT, with a mission to work closely with the island’s network of tourist offices, such as the intercommunal tourist office of Destination South Reunion and those in the South, East, West, and North regions.

His main role will be to highlight the tourist attractions of Reunion to visitors and residents. Indeed, FRT supports these actors in their professionalization and in implementing sustainable policies. It should be noted that Christian Loga has already served the position of Deputy Director since 2021.

The Reunion Island Tourism Federation is an association established under the law of 1901, initially set up in 2000 as the Reunion Federation of Tourist Welcoming Countries (FRPAT). It expanded its scope of action by incorporating the activities of the former Reunion Federation of Tourist Offices and Initiative Unions (FROTSI) in 2004, thus adopting its current name, FRT. Since its inception, the FRT has played a unifying role by bringing together a network of Tourist Offices and working with local actors to support and promote the tourist development of La Reunion. In doing so, it benefits from the support and collaboration of the Reunion Region in executing its projects.
