Appointment of Louis-Olivier FAVOT as CEO of MVola

MVola, a leading provider of digital financial services in Madagascar, recently announced the appointment of Louis-Olivier FAVOT as CEO, marking a significant milestone in the company’s development and growth journey.

With a solid 10-year background in program and project management in a multicultural environment and seven years of field experience in digital financial services in sub-Saharan Africa, Louis-Olivier FAVOT joined MVola in 2020 as Operations Director. In this pivotal role, he was responsible for sales and distribution, marketing, digital channels, KYC processes, customer service, and training. Building on his achievements, he was promoted to interim CEO of MVola in November 2022, a testament to the board’s unwavering confidence in his abilities.

Today, as CEO, FAVOT will be tasked with leading the company’s strategic activities, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining MVola’s leadership position in the digital financial services sector in Madagascar. He will also be in charge of managing relationships with partners and stakeholders, as well as establishing strategic partnerships to strengthen MVola’s market position.
