Axian Telecom entrusts Patrick Pisal Hamida with supervising its development in Africa

Axian Telecom strengthens its expansion in Africa by appointing Patrick Pisal Hamida as Vice-President. This appointment demonstrates the group’s commitment to strengthening its ties with public authorities, investors, and major telecommunications players across the continent.

In his new role, Patrick Pisal Hamida works alongside the company’s CEO, Hassan Mb, and the leaders of YAS entities present in Africa. According to the group’s statement, “The new Vice-President’s mission is to oversee the group’s external relations and ensure the smooth operation in countries where YAS is established, notably in Madagascar, Comoros, Réunion, Mayotte, Tanzania, and Senegal.”

His expertise and 20 years of experience within the group enable him to play a central role in the company’s negotiations and development projects in Africa. In addition to his new responsibilities, Pisal Hamida continues to serve as a board member of YAS companies and retains his seat on Axian’s Executive Committee. He also oversees the Public Affairs and Institutional Relations Directorate in Madagascar, as well as the security team.

This promotion is part of Axian Telecom’s ambitious growth strategy, seeking to strengthen its influence and structure its activities on the African continent.
