Pedro Novo, former Export Director of Bpifrance, has been appointed CEO of Axian Properties, the real estate branch of the Malagasy group Axian, headed by Hassanein Hiridjee.

This change of direction comes after two years at Dalia Hospitality, where he managed a fund dedicated to financing real estate projects in Africa.

With his expertise in real estate project financing and management, Pedro Novo will oversee the growth of Axian Properties. A major player in the real estate sector in Madagascar, particularly through its companies such as First Immo and SGEM, which specialize in property management, this appointment is part of the group’s expansion strategy, which is increasing its acquisitions in Africa, particularly in Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, and Zanzibar.

With 22 years of experience at Bpifrance, where he supported various financing initiatives, the new CEO now leads an ambitious team focused on consolidating and developing real estate in Africa.
