Joël Hounsinou Appointed CEO of CAMRAIL

Joël Hounsinou, former Managing Director of Africa Global Logistics, Côte d’Ivoire, is now the CEO of CAMRAIL, the railway subsidiary of AGL (Africa Global Logistics), a company owned by the Italo-Swiss group MSC and concessionaire of the Cameroonian railway network. He succeeds Pascal MINY, who has been called to other positions within AGL.

Joël Hounsinou earned an Executive Certificate in Corporate and Business Strategy from HEC Paris in 2024 and graduated in 1993 from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d’Abidjan (ESCA-INPHB). He began his career in auditing at ARTHUR ANDERSEN and COOPERS & LYBRAND, then moved to SITARAIL in 1995. Three years later, Joël Hounsinou was entrusted with the commercial management.

« I am delighted to join CAMRAIL and return to the railway sector that allowed me to grow professionally. I look forward to collaborating with the teams to achieve the essential objectives entrusted to us. I am confident in the expertise of my railway colleagues and our collective commitment to continue and accelerate the work of my predecessor. I arrive with great humility but with powerful faith and determination. I wish to express my gratitude to everyone who has trusted me by placing me at the head of this prestigious company, CAMRAIL, whose socio-economic impact is tangible and concrete daily », says Joël Hounsinou, the new CEO of CAMRAIL.
