During its session on Friday, December 27, 2024, the Board of Directors of Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI) appointed Mr. Jean Martial Adou as Director General. The RTI Human Resources Directorate disclosed this information in a note to its employees.

On Thursday, July 11, 2024, following an extraordinary meeting of the RTI Board of Directors, Jean Martial Adou was named interim Director General. This decision came 24 hours after the dismissal of the former Director General, Fausséni Dembélé.

Before taking on the role of interim Director General of Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI), succeeding Fausséni Dembélé, Mr. Martial Adou served as Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Communication.

Until now, Mr. Jean Martial Adou held the role of interim Director General following the dismissal of Fausséni Dembélé, who was removed from his position by Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara after a cabinet meeting he chaired on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the presidential palace in Abidjan-Plateau.
