According to the Council of Ministers’ statement dated Wednesday, November 20, 2024, Lakoun Ouattara has succeeded Namahoua Bamba Touré, who was dismissed from the position.
The newly appointed Director-General of ARTCI brings expertise in management and significant know-how in the commercial sector. Since 2016, he has been leading advanced development services. He currently heads a business development consultancy, a role that has afforded him a distinguished and impactful career in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic landscape.
Mr. Ouattara previously served as the Director-General of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d’Ivoire (CGECI) before establishing his firm. He also held the position of Executive Secretary of the Union of Major Industrial Companies in Côte d’Ivoire.
With a diverse and prestigious academic background, he earned his finance degree from the École Supérieure de Commerce d’Abidjan. He further pursued advanced studies in strategy at HEC Paris and digital transformation at the IESE Business School. Since August 2024, he has served as the President of the Centers for Intelligence and Excellence (SCIP ICOE) in Côte d’Ivoire.
