Hilton announces the appointment of Alessandro Redaelli as Vice President of Operations for North Africa and the Levant, a new strategic role for the group.
Based in Hilton’s Cairo office, the new leader will oversee the operations of 35 hotels across seven of the company’s flagship brands, with a projected opening of nearly 50 new properties in the coming years.
With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Redaelli has held leadership roles in various European and Middle Eastern markets. Prior to this appointment, he was General Manager of the prestigious Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi.
His appointment also marks the creation of a leadership position dedicated to North Africa and the Levant, underscoring the strategic importance of these regions for the company. The group continues its ambitious expansion, particularly in Egypt, where it plans to triple its portfolio. And in Morocco, with the introduction of several new brands, including the first Waldorf Astoria in Rabat.
