Simplifying the process of invoicing declarations
The Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) is launching an online payment system for customs services. Through this portal, customers can pay import and export taxes.
Thanks to the deployment of the electronic payment system, invoicing for all import and export declarations is simplified. This will make operations more efficient and streamline customs clearance for traders, companies, and individuals.
To make a payment using the electronic system, users must email several documents to [email protected]. These include a photocopy of their ID, contact details, copies of invoices, and transport information.
Currently, the platform only accepts import and export transactions, but the SRC plans to expand its services in the future. This system is part of the SRC’s digitalization efforts, which began last year with the introduction of various web-based services.
