Madagascar highlights its appeal to Polish tourists
Madagascar enjoys international recognition in the tourism sector. During the 30th edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair TT Warsaw, which took place in Warsaw, Poland, from November 29 to December 1.
This event is considered one of the most important in the tourism sector in Europe. The Big Island deserves this recognition, as it continues to highlight its appeal to Polish tourists, thanks to the National Tourism Office of Madagascar (ONTM), which is responsible for promoting the destination Madagascar. This distinction only consolidates the country’s position as a preferred and essential tourist destination for visitors worldwide.
This recognition highlights the growing popularity of Madagascar among Polish tourists. Indeed, the number of visitors from Eastern Europe increased significantly, from 6,472 in 2019 to 19,440 in 2023.
The Warsaw tourism market is considered one of the largest tourism fairs in Poland. The event, which has reached its thirtieth edition, brought together tourism leaders from 56 countries, with the participation of 281 entities, including the National Tourism Office of Madagascar (ONTM).
