A Partnership to Promote Madagascar Internationally
The National Tourism Office of Madagascar (ONTM) and Radisson Blu have signed a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening Madagascar’s international image through targeted actions to attract more tourists.
On February 7, the two parties formalized a strategic alliance based on four key pillars: participation in international tourism fairs, mutual support in both traditional and emerging markets, collaboration with influencers to promote the destination, and institutional development support for the ONTM.
One of the highlights of this agreement is participation in the Dubai Tourism Fair, a crucial event for the country’s global visibility. Danny Barivelo, Executive Director of ONTM, emphasized the importance of this event. He also mentioned the increase in Emirates flights to the island, with up to six daily connections, enhancing accessibility and attracting more visitors.
François Van Rens, representing Radisson Blu, expressed his belief that the partnership’s impact would be stronger if both entities worked together. By developing the overall tourism market, both parties would benefit from positive returns.
This collaboration, renewed after three years, marks a significant milestone for Madagascar’s tourism sector. The partnership aims to boost the country’s tourism offerings and attract more visitors, contributing to the economic development of the island.
