Offering a variety of tourism products
Tourism professionals are exploring new strategies to rejuvenate the industry. The « Festikite Madagascar », organized by Mada Kite Bros, is the first international kitesurfing festival held at the northern tip of Madagascar.
The third edition of Festikite Madagascar, which had a dazzling debut in 2022 and 2023, promises to be even more exciting. Scheduled from August 18 to 28 at Sakalava Bay on the renowned Ramena Beach in Antsiranana, this year’s festival is backed by the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts and the Madagascar National Office of Tourism (ONTM).
Festikite Madagascar aims to attract niche markets while showcasing a range of tourism options in Madagascar. The goal is to establish Madagascar as a prime destination for sports enthusiasts, including those interested in golf, international trail running, and kitesurfing, all of which are growing in popularity.
More than just a sporting event, Festikite Madagascar serves as a catalyst for tourism development. By blending sports, adventure, and the island’s natural beauty, the 2024 edition is set to be a key event for kitesurfing fans and a major boost for tourism, drawing participants and spectators from around the globe.
