Call for applications from local innovative companies

The 2024 edition of the international VIVATECH exhibition is set to unfold at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from May 22 to 25. In anticipation of this prominent event spotlighting European startups and technology, the Reunion Region is poised to revitalize its delegation of companies. This initiative is strategically aligned to ensure the optimal representation of Reunion on the stage of technological innovation.

In alignment with the regional strategy centered on innovation and attractiveness, this endeavor aims to champion and showcase the innovation ecosystem in La Réunion. Its goal is to facilitate business opportunities, fortify the territory’s appeal, and spotlight its skills and expertise under a unified banner.

Selected companies are in for substantial financial support, encompassing coverage of the rental and setup of the Reunion Pavilion. Additionally, the incoming delegation will be furnished with accreditations for the VIVATECH exhibition and the development of territorial marketing tools to amplify the region and its businesses. The chosen companies will also benefit from tailored support in readiness for this pivotal event. Moreover, representatives will gain access to the Prim’Export subsidy, extending coverage up to 50 % of eligible expenses, with a limit of 15,000 EUR per company.

The pre-selection process entails online application submissions open until February 21, 2024. In late February, I will witness a presentation before a jury comprising representatives from the Reunion Region and the local economic sphere. Selection criteria will hinge on applicant companies’ maturity and adeptness in addressing development challenges, harmonizing with the regional strategy and the exhibition’s thematic focus.
