MCB’s third cashless campaign : Prize distribution

Highlighting MCB Bank Services and Products Through a Lottery

The Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB) celebrates 21 fortunate winners of its cashless campaign, organized from December 1, 2023, to January 15, 2024.

The prize-giving ceremony, featuring a grand prize worth 5,000 USD unfolded at the bank’s main office in Caravelle House. Various members of the Seychelles team of MCB graciously presented the cash prizes.

Roy Moumou clinched the coveted grand prize. « I feel incredibly elated. The call informing me of my win came as a delightful surprise. This initiative by MCB is truly commendable », expressed Mr. Moumou, who learned about the campaign solely through MCB’s social media advertisements.

MCB Seychelles spearheaded the « Win Big With Cashless » campaign in collaboration with Visa. The promotional drive aims to promote cashless transactions using MCB Visa cards at point-of-sale (POS) terminals and for online payments. Bank customers could obtain a lottery ticket by simply making transactions using their MCB Visa Debit (Classic & Platinum)/Credit (Classic & Gold) cards during the campaign period.

Elaine Derjaques, Marketing and Communication Manager at MCB Seychelles orchestrated the campaign, stating, « Congratulations to all who participated in our campaign till the end ». At the ceremony, Belinda Baptiste, MCB’s customer service representative, introduced the bank’s Juice application, urging customers to utilize it.

« The Juice application encompasses all the services MCB offers, making transactions smoother. We encourage everyone to download the application on their devices », emphasized Ms. Baptiste.
