Empowering youth with basic IT training

Orange Digital Center, a dynamic institution in Madagascar, has partnered with Coursera, the global leader in online learning, to launch a cutting-edge certification program.

This collaboration aims to allow young people in Africa and the Middle East to acquire essential digital skills at their own pace. Spearheaded by the Orange Digital Center (ODC) network, comprising 16 centers, this initiative focuses on digital inclusion for youth and entrepreneurs.

The objective is to equip young individuals in the region with fundamental skills in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship. These programs are tailored to meet the ever-evolving demands of the job market, enabling participants to integrate into the workforce, advance their careers, or explore opportunities in the digital realm.

Orange Digital Centers serve as physical hubs for innovation and learning, providing free and accessible facilities for all. They offer a dynamic environment where youth can enhance their skills, explore emerging technologies, and unleash creativity. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, these centers support youth throughout their journey in technological innovation and entrepreneurship.

This innovation ecosystem offers free learning programs across various domains, including a Coding School, a Solidarity FabLab, an accelerator called Orange Fab, and Orange Ventures Middle East.
