Promoting Madagascar’s development
The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) are key technical and financial partners contributing to Madagascar’s infrastructure development.
These financial institutions are currently in Madagascar to closely monitor and supervise the progress of ongoing road projects they are financing. Yesterday, the Minister of Public Works (MTP), Richard Rafidison, welcomed the delegation at his office in Anosy.
The projects under supervision include the development of Section 1 of the RN5 road between Soanierana-Ivongo and Vahibe, as well as the construction of the Mangoky Bridge on the RN9. Discussions also touched upon the procedures and strategies to expedite projects funded by BADEA, including the construction of two flyovers at Anosizato and Maki Andohatapenaka.
The Minister expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Arab partners for their unwavering support. In turn, the visiting delegation reaffirmed their commitment to assisting the MTP in its initiatives to advance Madagascar’s development.
