Promoting a more open and respectful professional environment
The « 1st Forum on Diversity and Inclusion », organized by Yas Madagascar on December 3 in Andraharo, focuses on people with disabilities.
The goal is to promote a more open and respectful professional environment where the rights and dignity of people with disabilities are valued. In this context, Gaël Rajaofera Voca, Director of Human Resources at Yas Madagascar, presented the main guidelines of the work carried out. This includes the incorporation of individuals with disabilities into companies and the empowerment of women, especially in the field of information technology.
These actions address major challenges, as women remain underrepresented in the technical field. During this year, the company will establish an Inclusion Committee to promote the integration of people with disabilities who face multiple barriers to employment. Yas Madagascar thus informs the public and employers about their rights and responsibilities. The company also provides appropriate facilities, such as elevators, easily accessible restrooms, and ergonomic workplaces.
