A well-deserved recognition for former employees
Several employees who have served the company for 10 to more than 40 years were honored at a ceremony organized by the Seychelles Petroleum Company (SEYPEC) on April 5, 2025, at the Eden Bleu Hotel.
This event was held as part of the company’s 40th anniversary celebrations. The ceremony brought together numerous dignitaries, including the President of the Republic of Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan. The Head of State was accompanied by Vice President Ahmed Afif, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Roger Mancienne, members of the government, the SEYPEC Board of Directors, and distinguished guests.
The employees received recognition for their loyalty and commitment to the company. Their work has contributed to the company’s development and success over the years.
Its Managing Director, Sarah Romain, warmly thanked the long-serving staff. In her speech, she emphasized that employees are the company’s strength. The CEO also recalled that teamwork and dedication have enabled SEYPEC to become a strong and recognized company, both regionally and internationally.
This ceremony is just the beginning of the activities planned to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary. Other events will take place throughout April.
