David Ralambofiringa, the Minister of Industrialization and Commerce, took the opportunity of his ministry’s flag-raising ceremony to encourage his colleagues.

« 2025 will be full of challenges, and we will turn our vision into tangible results throughout this year », he affirmed. This was an opportunity for the Minister to take stock of the efforts. Moreover, he identified the main projects to be carried out by the ministry in terms of industrialization and economic transformation.

This program is one of the three key elements of Madagascar’s development, and it is in line with the state’s general policy. However, tangible progress is noticeable thanks to implementing the One District One Factory (Odof) project. « Currently, of the 82 Odof factories established across the island since the launch of the Odof project in 2019, 49 are operational », said Njivaitana Rakotarivona, Director General of Industrialization, during the ministry’s open day.

Minister David Ralambofiringa also pays particular attention to the human aspect to enrich the experience of ministry employees and improve their working environment. Consequently, training and skills development programs are planned.
