18th edition of FIM : Must-attend event for economic players

Over 150 participants expected at this international trade fair

Madagascar’s international fairs and trade shows have maintained significant popularity for over two decades, attracting professionals and individuals alike. In its 18th edition this year, the International Trade Fair of Madagascar (FIM) reaffirms its position as a key event on the global trade fair calendar.

Organized by Forello Expo and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (Medd), the 2024 edition is slated to take place from May 23rd to May 26th, 2024, at the Forello Exhibition Park in Tanjombato.

Representatives from more than six countries, including Mauritius, Mayotte, and others from the African continent, are expected to participate this year, thanks to several international donor projects. Across these four days, approximately 150 participants will showcase their offerings across over 300 booths, providing a platform to spotlight local businesses internationally, foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders, raise awareness about sustainable development issues, and showcase local talent.

The organizer also highlights the event’s aim to elevate promising small businesses such as artisans and women entrepreneurs. Therefore, the 18th edition of FIM pledges to be a vital gathering for all economic players and professionals eager to contribute to Madagascar’s vibrant development.
