Ensuring access to hospital facilities
The Anjouanese community of Ngazidja receives a medical container donated by the Soprano Foundation. Representatives of the Ministry of Health, as well as former ministers, deputies, and members of this community, attended the ceremony.
A 40-foot container includes beds, canes, wheelchairs, mattresses, an ambulance, and various other medical equipment. According to Elhad Ibrahim, president of the Soprano Foundation, this equipment is valued at 500,000 euros. He took the opportunity to commend the patriotism of the internationally renowned Comorian celebrity.
Said M’roumbaba, better known as Soprano, expressed his desire to act in favor of the towns and villages of the Comoros. The 80,000 inhabitants of this community requested this aid due to their many health needs.
Regarding the management of this equipment, Kamarddine Abdou indicated that partnerships with certain health facilities are being considered to ensure their optimal use and distribution. On behalf of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Naouirou Mhadji, Director of Disease Control, stressed the importance of everyone’s commitment to health. He recalled that ensuring access to care and hospital facilities is one of the priorities of social security and public health.
