Promoting well-being and social engagement at work

Enhancing public service quality

On Saturday, September 21, the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative and Institutional Reforms hosted an open house at the Farmer’s Service Centre in Goodlands.

The event aimed to promote workplace health and safety while highlighting various initiatives from different ministries and public service departments. Minister Anjiv Ramdhany, who led the event, noted that this was a first for his ministry. He emphasized the importance of understanding the work of public servants, as the government continues to invest heavily in improving the quality of services provided to the public.

Ramdhany also addressed the government’s ongoing efforts to lessen the impact of rising prices on the population. He highlighted significant strides made in digitizing services within his ministry, announcing the upcoming launch of an online health project by the Ministry of Health and Wellness. This project will offer faster, more efficient services, complementing other digital initiatives like the Electronic Document Management System (e-DMS), which ensures that public services remain modern and functional in today’s tech-driven world.
