Encouraging customers to meet deadlines
Measures have been announced by Jirama to improve the quality of its services and ensure more effective management of subscriber bills.
Starting in August, the date for receiving bills will now be set to the 10th of each month. This change aims to provide customers with clear deadlines for paying their bills. According to a statement, Jirama indicates that each bill will include a payment deadline. If this deadline is missed, the customer will face penalties. These penalties will range from a 5 % interest rate on the following month’s bill to possible disconnection or removal of the meter. To avoid these additional charges, Jirama encourages its subscribers to adhere to payment deadlines.
In addition to traditional bill delivery methods, Jirama offers subscribers various options to receive their bills: by email, via WhatsApp, and by SMS. The online agency also provides customers with the ability to view and download their bills on the company’s official website, www.jirama.mg.
To ensure smooth communication, Jirama urges its customers to update their phone and email information. For assistance, customers can contact customer service at number 547 or use a privat message on the Jirama Official Facebook page and WhatsApp number +261 38 83 035 47.
