Preparing high school students for higher education
From March 14 to 21, 2024, the University of Mayotte is implementing several initiatives to support high school students and their teachers in their journey through higher education.
On March 14, the university will welcome the head teachers of the first and final year classes for a day of presentations and discussions. After an introduction to the university, a round table will bring together experts, such as Alberte Cabarrus Henry, head of SUIO-IP, and Béatrice Piazza-Paruch, Director of Orientation-Integration at IGR HC.
The objective is to prepare students well for their future studies and support them in their professional project. Teachers will also be able to visit the institute’s facilities to better understand the opportunities offered to future students. Registration for this meeting is available on the rectorate’s website.
From March 19 to 21, the institution will offer online open days, in the form of interactive webinars, intended for high school students. These sessions will allow students to discover the diversity of the training courses offered and to interact directly with managers and teachers. This approach aims to better inform young people, in order to help them make informed choices for their academic and professional future. The University is thus committed to supporting future students in achieving their ambitions.
