Founded by two local companies, animation producer Gao Shan Pictures and Studio Pitaya for video games, Rubika Réunion benefits from strong industry connections. Supported by Rubika Valenciennes, a renowned institution recognized for its excellence in visual arts and part of the France 2030 program, Rubika Réunion offers students direct access to industry professionals, facilitating seamless integration into the professional world upon graduation.

In 2023, it was honored as one of the Top 5 Video Game Schools worldwide by the Global Association Media Education (GAMEducation).
