Celebration symbolizing progress and ambition
The President of Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan, attended a reception for the 53rd National Day of the United Arab Emirates in Beau Vallon, highlighting the enduring partnership between Seychelles and the UAE.
The event, organized by Ahmed Alnayadi, the UAE representative in Seychelles, gathered notable figures such as former President Danny Faure, Vice President Ahmed Afif, National Assembly President Roger Mancienne, diplomats, and other high-ranking officials.
Alnayadi emphasized the symbolism of this event, describing the UAE National Day as a celebration of progress and ambition. This event showcases the journey of the Emirati people towards a more promising future, honoring current pioneers and inspiring future leaders.
Recalling the UAE’s development since its establishment on December 2, 1971, Alnayadi highlighted its progress towards becoming a global leader in several fields, particularly technology, space exploration, green energy, and culture. He also emphasized the country’s commitment to promoting peace and preserving cultural heritage through partnerships with international entities such as UNESCO.
Alnayadi underscored that the relations between the UAE and Seychelles are based on a strong friendship characterized by cooperation and mutual respect.
