Promoting better cooperation
An agreement has been reached between the government of the Republic of Mauritius and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine regarding the waiver of visa requirements.
This visa exemption agreement between Mauritius and Ukraine marks the end of visa obligations for citizens of both countries. During his speech at the signing, Minister Gobin stated that the agreement represents a crucial step in the development of bilateral relations between the two nations.
He also highlighted that, as of now, Ukrainian citizens traveling to Mauritius receive a visa on arrival for 90 days. With this agreement, the entry procedures will be standardized, allowing Mauritians to enter and stay in Ukraine for up to 90 days within 180 days.
Additionally, Maneesh Gobin expressed his belief that the agreement will foster better cooperation in various fields. The mutual recognition of qualifications from Ukrainian universities and institutions, particularly in the medical field, is currently being finalized by Mauritius. Mauritius is focused on its relationship with Ukraine and remains committed to strengthening this friendship.
