Dubai Summit : Madagascar’s Strategic Position

Great Island seizing new opportunities

Dubai is hosting a major summit from February 11 to 13, bringing together more than 30 heads of state, 400 ministers, and 6,000 participants. Madagascar, represented by President Andry Rajoelina, is seizing this opportunity to strengthen its international relations and forge new partnerships.

Economic stability and digital transformation are redefining governance models. In this context, the World Government Summit constitutes a key space for exchange and action. This forum brings together over 140 government delegations and 80 international organizations. The debates focus on major topics: artificial intelligence, economic resilience, and climate adaptation.

Moreover, more than 300 experts contribute their expertise in their respective fields. Additionally, 21 colloquia and 200 interactive sessions enrich the discussions. Decision-makers identify innovative solutions, while public-private cooperation is at the heart of the conversations. These various initiatives foster the impetus for concrete and sustainable changes.

For its part, Madagascar takes advantage of this platform, with the President’s presence reinforcing its strategic positioning. Indeed, this participation stimulates international collaborations. The goal is to attract investments and develop infrastructure. Furthermore, technological innovation constitutes a major axis. Finally, closer ties with the United Arab Emirates open promising perspectives. This could accelerate Madagascar’s integration into new global dynamics.
