« Ampela Paré »: a label for women’s empowerment

Since its establishment in September 2024 in Antaninarenina, Paositra Finance has continued its expansion and now has 20 branches in Madagascar. During a press conference held in Ivandry on March 4, its Managing Director, Heritiana Andrianalisoa, announced the launch of the Ampela Paré label. An initiative dedicated to Malagasy women, in this month dedicated to them.

Literally meaning « woman, ready and responsible », this label brings together several actions aimed at supporting beneficiaries, whether they are clients, employees or partners of the institution. «These initiatives encourage women in their projects and support them in their development », underlines the CEO.

Paositra Finance’s commitment to inclusion is already well established. « Half of our customers are women (49%) and 60% of our employees are also women », said Heritiana Andrianalisoa. In addition, three women hold strategic positions on the management committee. To strengthen this momentum, the company is offering this month an exemption from application fees for female customers.

Raherinjatovo Lala Prisca, Deputy General Manager at the institution, presented the financial products designed to promote economic independence: Ketrika, a loan dedicated to employees and civil servants, and Herijika, a solution adapted to independent entrepreneurs.

Aligned with the Digital Strategic Plan (PSN 2023-2028) and the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion (SNIM 2024-2028), Paositra Finance aims to evolve towards a postal bank model. In particular, by offering a range of services adapted to Malagasy economic realities.
