Commercial financing for women entrepreneurs
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, MauBank Ltd is introducing the ElleBoost program, tailored specifically for women entrepreneurs in Mauritius.
The « ElleBoost »program is exclusively designed for women entrepreneurs who operate established businesses in Mauritius or whose majority shareholder is a woman. This initiative focuses solely on commercial endeavors. Vishuene Vydelingum, MauBank’s Chief Executive Officer, emphasizes that providing financial support to women is an ethical decision and a strategic business move.
Several documents are necessary for the application, including a credit report from the Mauritius Credit Information Bureau (MCIB), a research report, and a bank statement. The financing options under ElleBoost comprise three distinct products:
- An overdraft facility of up to 200,000 MUR (approximately 4,370 USD)
- A term loan of up to 10,930 USD
- A finance lease facility of roughly 21,855 USD
ElleBoost offers favorable interest rates, reduced processing fees, and other preferential features.
This program prioritizes flexibility by incorporating floating charges, enabling women to safeguard their assets. No processing fees are applicable during the launch campaign from March 8 to April 30, 2024. Furthermore, beneficiaries will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to the GSI barcode from the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).
