Air Sector: New frequencies to connect more destinations

Increase in flights to Paris and Nosy-Be in 2025

Since April 2, 2025, Air Austral has launched its summer season with an increase in the number of flights to its main destinations. The objective is to meet growing passenger demand.

For the Réunion-Paris route, the airline is increasing its weekly flights to 12. Passengers will be able to choose between daily flights from Réunion Island and Charles de Gaulle Airport. During peak periods, Air Austral will also offer daytime flights. These flights will be operated by Boeing 777-300ERs, offering greater comfort to travelers.

The Réunion-Nosy-Be route in Madagascar is also benefiting from a new frequency. During school holidays, there will be a fifth frequency, giving passengers more choice. These flights will be operated by an Airbus A220-300.

Finally, starting in December 2025, Air Austral will offer a third weekly service between Réunion Island and Bangkok. This service, previously available only during the holiday season, will now operate regularly until the end of the season in March 2026.

These adjustments allow Air Austral to offer more flexibility to its customers and better meet demand for these popular destinations.
