Although the financial details were not disclosed, experts estimate the deal to be worth around 100 million USD. This acquisition is one of Deel’s largest to date and supports its goal of establishing a presence in over 100 countries.
This news follows Deel’s recent acquisition of the German personal development platform Zavvy, valued at approximately 20 million USD. Co-founder and CEO Alex Bouaziz stated, « Global salary management is difficult, and getting it right is essential. As a company, you want to be sure that you can pay your teams on time, in full compliance, anywhere in the world ».
PaySpace brings recognized expertise in payroll management, particularly in Africa and the Middle East. Combined with PayGroup’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region, this acquisition will help Deel’s customers expand their businesses globally.

With the acquisition of PaySpace, the California-based company is set to become the first global employer of record (EOR) and payroll manager to have its own comprehensive payroll engine localized in 50 countries, seamlessly integrated with its services.
