Ibrahim Coulibaly has been appointed Managing Director of Finafrica Assurances Senegal by the company’s Board of Directors. With over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, the new CEO has held the position of Deputy Managing Director at the same company since July 2023.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Insurance from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Paris), a Master’s degree in Finance and General Management from IAE Caen, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Ibrahim Coulibaly has a solid academic background.
His career began in 2003 at AXA France, before moving to Crédit Agricole Assurances, CSC Consulting, Wavestone, and the African Development Bank (AfDB). The CEO has also held several management positions at the SUNU Group in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mali.
