A Record Success for Local Tourism
The 9th edition of Tsenaben’ny Fizahantany will be held from April 14 to 16, 2025, at the BAREA Mahamasina Stadium in Antananarivo.
This annual event, organized by the Madagascar National Tourism Office (ONTM) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, attracts more than 7,500 visitors, a record number.
Exhibitors are seeing an increase in sales, estimated at between 10 and 15% compared to previous editions. This increase reflects growing interest in the local sector and the offers offered at the show. Visitors benefit from discounts of up to 20% on various services such as accommodation, travel, tours, gastronomy, and transportation.
The Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Viviane Dewa, praised the success of the event and emphasized the importance of promoting domestic tourism. The Minister also highlighted the participation of Regional Tourism Offices (ORT) and local artisans, which enriches the show’s offerings.
The 2025 edition of Tsenaben’ny Fizahantany confirms its role as an essential platform for promoting national tourism. The event allows Malagasy people to discover and plan their trips through the country’s many cultural treasures, while contributing to the growth of the country’s tourism industry.
