Khalid Assari has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Moroccan agro-industrial group Forafric Global PLC, effective April 4, 2025, succeeding Saâd Bendidi.

Continuing to serve as the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Khalid Assari brings with him considerable experience in the agri-food sector, notably through his previous responsibilities at the Caisse de dépôt et de gestion (CDG Group), a major player in Moroccan economic development. His expertise is expected to strengthen Forafric’s strategic vision internationally.

Forafric Global PLC, established in Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa, is distinguished by its comprehensive flour and semolina production chain. The company is also active in the processing of secondary products, such as pasta and couscous. With exports to over 45 countries, the company actively contributes to the development of Moroccan agro-industrial expertise and its global reach.
