HSBC Mauritius: Hajrah Sakauloo appointed CEO

Since 1st March, Hajrah Sakauloo has taken over the reins of the Mauritius subsidiary of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) as CEO and Head of Banking. She succeeds Greg Lowden, who oversaw a period of significant transformation, including the divestment of the retail banking business and the migration of 38,000 clients to Absa Bank Mauritius.

Philip Fellowes, Chairman of HSBC Mauritius, welcomed the appointment, highlighting Sakauloo’s expertise and his potential to lead the bank to further success.
