A new health centre for Anse Aux Pins

A step towards better care for the community

On 26 February, the President of the Republic of Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan, presided over the ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the new health centre in Anse Aux Pins. This ceremony marks a change in the development of health care in the region.

Accompanied by the Minister of Health, Peggy Vidot, the President unveiled a commemorative plaque and symbolically placed the foundation stone, announcing the start of this essential project. The event brought together the Speaker of the National Assembly, ministers, members of the National Assembly, as well as health professionals and residents of Anse Aux Pins and neighbouring communities. « Their presence underlines the collective commitment to strengthening health services and improving accessibility for all », announced the Head of State.

In his speech, he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to investing in this sector, by modernizing facilities and optimizing equipment. Minister Vidot also highlighted the role of this new health center in meeting the growing medical demands of the residents of Anse Aux Pins and surrounding districts. This future center aims to offer improved medical services, such as specialized consultations and preventive care, in a user-friendly environment. These infrastructures reflect the government’s mission to guarantee quality health care for all.
