Monhamed Compaoré has been appointed Managing Director of SUNU Assurances IARD Centrafrique. A decision that is part of the strategy to strengthen the group’s position in the local market, also including SUNU Assurances Vie Centrafrique. With solid experience in risk management, business development and innovation in insurance, the new CEO has the skills to take on this challenge.

Before assuming his new role, Monhamed Compaoré was President of the Professional Association of Insurance Companies of Burkina Faso (APSAB) since July 2021, where he was able to promote and defend the interests of the sector’s players. At the same time, he held the position of Managing Director of SUNU Assurances IARD Burkina Faso since September 2018, during which time he contributed to the growth and optimization of insurance services.

His appointment marks a strategic change for the group, which aims to consolidate its activities in Central Africa. Compaoré will have to mobilize his skills and expertise to boost the insurance market in Central Africa.
