Career Fair in Le Chaudron: Experts to support young people from Reunion Island
Until Sunday 5 p.m., the Chaudron exhibition center is hosting a large fair dedicated to career guidance and training for pupils, high school students, college students and parents.
This event offers 70 professional exhibitors the opportunity to advise and inform young people on their choices of academic and professional paths. With the end of Parcoursup wishes only three weeks away, this fair aims to be a platform for dialogue, exchanges and guidance for those who are at a decisive crossroads in their future.
Experts in public and private training will be present to answer a multitude of questions: how to become a nurse? What courses are offered by the University of Reunion? Is it better to do preparation on the island or in mainland France? The possibilities for professional retraining will also be discussed, particularly for adults wishing to change direction.
The event, which attracts more than 10,000 visitors, also highlights solutions such as apprenticeships and continuing education. The professionals present, including those from the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Medef, emphasize the importance of apprenticeships as a way to access the job market, especially in the face of integration difficulties.
This program is supported by the Réunion Region, the Departmental Council, France Travail, the University of Réunion and Epitech, who are joining forces to offer young people all the keys to succeed in their professional project.
