India-Mauritius : Sustainable Cooperation and Future Projects
Anurag Srivastava, the Indian High Commissioner to Mauritius, reaffirmed the privileged ties and close cooperation between the two countries during a courtesy visit to the Mauritian Vice President, Robert Hungley, on January 28, 2025, in Quatre Bornes.
According to his statement, the meeting was cordial and productive. Discussions focused on existing areas of collaboration as well as new perspectives. He recalled that India supports Mauritius in key sectors such as education, space, and digital technologies.
This meeting also helped identify the priorities of the Mauritian government. Additionally, it reaffirmed the willingness of both countries to strengthen their partnership, particularly in health, information technology, production, and the pharmaceutical industry. Srivastava also emphasized the gratitude expressed by the Vice President for the aid provided by India following Cyclone Chido.
