Advancing development projects in Madagascar

In Ambohidahy, the representative of the United Nations Development Programme in Madagascar (UNDP), Edward A. Christow, was received by the Minister of Industrialization and Trade, David Ralambofiringa.

The meeting focused on discussing the support and assistance of the Ministry of Industrialization and Trade (MIC) in its transformation activities. According to the ministry, following this meeting, the UNDP expressed its support for the MIC to advance its development projects in Madagascar.

The UNDP representative had the opportunity to present to the Minister the technical support that the UNDP will provide. Specifically, assistance for private sector growth projects, trade, and financing. According to Minister Ralambofiringa, most of the areas supported by the UNDP are related to the competence of the MIC.
