Sarah Saous has been appointed CEO of Avanzit Technologies Morocco, a company specializing in telecom activities and railway signaling, and a subsidiary of NGE in Morocco.
Acquired in 2014 by Ali Naoui, Avanzit joined the NGE group in April 2024. The company works closely with NGE INFRANET, NGE’s telecom subsidiary, to share their expertise and foster collective growth. In Morocco, Avanzit, currently employing nearly 300 staff, has installed over 30,000 kilometers of fiber optic cables. The company stands out in terms of the deployment and maintenance of fiber optic networks and railway signaling.
As CEO of Avanzit Technologies Morocco, Sarah Saous aims to leverage the country’s growing momentum to position the company as a key player in these two areas of expertise. The organization of the FIFA World Cup in 2030 offers significant growth opportunities for the subsidiary, particularly in the field of railway signaling and telecommunications, with the Kingdom aiming to make 5G accessible to 70 % of the population by 2030.
Sarah Saous, a graduate of ESTP – École Spéciale des Travaux Publics, has 14 years of experience in infrastructure project management. She began her career as a Works Engineer at the Eiffage group and collaborated on infrastructure projects in the Paris region for five years.
