Boosting the island’s global profile
At the Carlton Anosy, a tripartite partnership agreement was signed between the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts (MTA), the National Tourism Office of Madagascar (ONTM), and Corsair Airlines to expand Madagascar’s visibility on the global stage.
This public-private partnership makes Madagascar more accessible internationally. The alliance between Madagascar’s public administration and private partners, like Corsair, aims to position Madagascar as a prominent global travel destination.
Through their collaboration, the MTA and ONTM are working to raise the island’s profile by highlighting its potential in professional tourism and events. This agreement focuses on specific actions to enhance Madagascar’s visibility worldwide, particularly targeting the French market. As a key partner, Corsair is committed to improving connectivity and ease of access by offering frequent flights and suitable transport options, ensuring tourists a comfortable journey.
The agreement among these three entities solidifies their shared vision: to establish Madagascar as a premier destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Events). With the international demand for MICE destinations on the rise, this strategic partnership seeks to make the island a preferred location for hosting conferences, seminars, and other major events.
